Dermal Filler
Dermal Fillers are gels made from a substance called Hyaluronic Acid (HA). HA is found naturally in the body, with its main role being to attract water and provide hydration to the skin. As we age, the levels of HA which are body produces diminish, resulting in loss of volume and dull skin. Dermal fillers can be used to replenish your own body's HA levels whilst refreshing your facial features, add volume to the face, fill lines & wrinkles, create shape & definition or correct asymmetry. There are many areas which can be treated using dermal fillers such as the lips, nasolabial folds, chin, cheeks, tear trough, jawline, forehead and temples.
Threads
Thread lifts are a non-surgical alternative to a face lift. Thread lifts are ideal for treating loosening or sagging skin or for a tighter and more youthful appearance. The two types of threads which we offer are PDO and Silhouette Soft.
Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are medical grade threads made of protein which are absorbed into the body resulting in the stimulation of collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid. As well as the long term benefits, PDO threads also provide an immediate lift to the skin resulting in a youthful, fresh appearance.
Silhouette Soft threads are similar to PDO as they also are absorbed into the skin, providing instant lift of sagging tissue as well as stimulating collagen to replace lost facial volume. Though unlike PDO, the main component of Silhouette Soft threads are Poly L-lactic acid (PLLA) which contains cones that hold the threads in place.
