Summer's Just Around the Corner

What is ThermiSmooth?

ThermiSmooth is a very successful non-invasive procedure particularly for treating cellulite and lifting + tightening the skin. Both surgery and scarring are unpleasant. While some non-invasive procedures may cause pain and discomfort, others may require you to follow a specific diet in order to achieve the best outcomes. On the other hand, ThermiSmooth is painless and leaves you with no visible scars. Furthermore, ThermiSmooth is a one-stop solution for difficulties across your body because it can be utilised to address a wide range of skin concerns such as wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin!

There are many benefits to growing older, including wisdom and respect. Unfavourably there may also be certain disadvantages, particularly with regard to your skin. As you grow older, sagging, wrinkles, and cellulite are typical, but they don't have to be, and you can achieve fantastic results without having to have surgery. Discover more about ThermiSmooth if you're interested in rejuvenating your face and body, and determine if it's the appropriate procedure for you.

How does ThermiSmooth work?

The procedure works by using radiofrequency, which heats the skin. This causes some collagen to shrink, which allows your skin to tighten and smooth. At the same time, your body naturally produces new collagen. The collagen fills in those wrinkles and dimples caused by cellulite and makes skin look younger and healthier. For sagging skin on the face or other areas of the body, ThermiSmooth can give them a tighter appearance.

Radiofrequency in the ThermiSmooth treatment aids:
- Improvement of tissue tone (reduction of skin laxity)
- Collagen remodelling
- Active acne treatment

Essentially, you'd want to consider ThermiSmooth if you have facial problems like sagging eyelids, wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, sagging jowls or cellulite, saggy/flabby skin on the body because it can tighten and lift those troublesome areas.

What areas can be treated with ThermiSmooth?

  • Eye sagging
  • Chin/Jawline
  • Neck/ Jowl
  • Thighs/ buttock cellulite
  • Stomach
  • Arms/ Legs

What is the treatment like?

ThermiSmooth treatments will usually take 30 minutes or longer, depending on the area that is being treated. During the treatment, the skin is heated using monopolar radiofrequency. This stimulates the skin’s own collagen production, which in turn tightens the skin, and likewise fills in fine lines and dimples.

Patients will feel a warm sensation in the treatment area, but the treatment is pain-free.
The result of the ThermiSmooth treatment is a tighter and smoother skin, and an overall rejuvenated skin in the treated area.

As the treatment is non-invasive, and requires no down-time, you can return to your daily activities immediately.

When can you expect to see results?

Our practitioner Leila will develop a treatment plan with you in your consultation appointment, and determine how many treatments will be required to achieve your desired result (usually require  2 to 4 treatment, 3 to 4 weeks apart ). It usually takes between 3-6 weeks & you will see improvement up to 6 months ; after that, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 6-12 months to maintain the results.
