What is Ultraformer MPT ?‍

Ultraformer MPT works through the use of two state-of-the-art technologies:
Micro Focused Ultrasound and Macro Focused Circular Ultrasound for skin laxity and body contouring treatments. Ultraformer MPT  can also be used on problem areas on the face & body. It is a simple treatment with no downtime and great visible results.

How does Ultraformer MPT  work?

Ultraformer MPT works through the application of 65-75 degree c of High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) which specifically targets the designated layer of skin tissue. This then creates skin coagulation at that layer, but without any damage to the surrounding area & skin surface.

After the HIFU treatment, haemostasis (inflammation) of the treated area takes place, this is the first phase of healing and lasts up to 48hours post treatment. The second phase takes place from day 3 till 6 weeks post treatment, this is the proliferative phase. During the proliferative phase the wounded cells contract, tissue granulates and collagen synthesis begins. The final phase is the Remodeling phase which takes place from 6-12 weeks post treatment. During the remodeling phase, the collagen fibres strengthen and rearrange, creating tighter and more lifted skin as well as the fat layer becoming reduced.

When will I see results?

Patients can see an immediate result following treatment, though the best, most dramatic results can be seen 8-12 weeks post treatment and will continue to improve up to 6 months after treatment.

Clinical Results

Patients will experience immediate results in skin tightening and reduction of size; though the best & full results will be seen several weeks post treatment when the tissue has fully responded to the coagulation caused by the ultrasound energy.
